This website is the official site for The Newscast, a rock band from the Pacific Northwest. Half the members are from the Portland area, the other half from the Salem area. Three out of the four members are music majors at Western Oregon University. Read more on the “about us” page.

We are glad that you have taken the time to visit our site. We are available to play a wide range of events, from charity and fund raisers (such as relay for life) to parties, battle of the bands and regular old rock concerts. We are equipped to play in any space and are not dependent on having sound systems supplied for us.
